Five Days research cum training programme was organised by the Department of Biochemistry, Govt Degree College Kulgam. In this connection students from the GDC-Tral (Guest College) had earlier applied to the college principal to be facilitated with laboratory space and equipment to perform various experiments by students of different semesters of the guest college. To make this event more fruitful and keeping in view the long term scope of the Biochemistry subject in academics and industry, it was converted into a formal training cum research programme for the visiting students from the guest college.
