The institution established its Career Counseling and Placement Cell in the year 2013, with an aim, to help students to attain academic and career goals. In fact, the basic purpose of the cell has been to provide the students with an opportunity to realize their career options, decision making skills, occupational information, reinforcement of appropriate work skills and attitudes , to prepare them for various competitive examinations, and to provide them a platform for training and placements.

STATUS AND ACTIVITIES OF THE CELL

The cell provides services to the enrolled students of the college, who desire to appear for various competitive examinations and professional courses.

Following activities are carried out by the centre, each year for the benefit of the students:

• Annual placement drive launched by the Ministry of Home Affairs, under their special initiative for J&K, titled UDAAN
• Career counseling sessions in collaboration with the District Employment and Counseling Centre.
• Regular counseling sessions conducted by the centre, by inviting professionals from various disciplines.
