Interactive Session about Career Opportunities

The Department of Biochemistry in collaboration with IQAC GDC Kulgam today organised an Interactive Session for its science students in the college conference hall. The session was chaired by IQAC Coordinator Dr M. Younus Bhat. The speakers included Dr. Mohsin Bashir, Research Fellow, IMB, Singapore, Raouf Ahmad, Research Fellow, Hebrew University, Israel and Mr Adil Abas, Graduate student, AMU. During the session, Dr Mohsin spoke at length, and stressed and advised the students to dream big and could achieve the same if they are willing to leave their comfort zone. He further advised them not to follow the footsteps of their forerunners but to decide their career as per their potential and preference. Towords end, the students asked the queries to the guest speakers and were pleased to have benefited from the session and asserted to take challenging jobs that could benefit the society in long run. Several college faculties also graced the occasion by their able presence. The session concluded by vote of thanks by the IQAC Coordinator and Dr Iqbal, HOD Biochemistry to all attendants including speakers and students and wished the latter good luck in their future endeavors
