About department

The Department of Geography at GDC Kulgam was created in 2014 when Geography was initially included to the college’s list of subjects. With just one staff member and a meagre 32 students enrolled in its inaugural batch; the department began its academic endeavours. Since then, the department has continued to advance in terms of facilities and student enrolment. Currently, the department has about 800 students enrolled in various semesters. The department is staffed with a sufficient number of personnel and has all the tools it needs to run efficiently.
