The college has an active Student Council. The council consists of all the class representatives (both male and female).

The Student Council is involved in various academic and administrative functions of the college by virtue of their representation in several committees of the college. The Student Council is represented in following committees of the colleges:

2. Discipline and Anti-Ragging Committee
3. Advisory Committee
4. NSS Advisory Board
5. Excursion Committee
6. Canteen Committee
7. Debates and Seminar Committee
8. Anti-Sexual Harassment Committee
9. Cultural Committee
10. Grievance Redressal Committee

The Student Council represents the students of the college in these committees. All the student related issues are addressed by virtue of their representation in these committees.
